The Night Nurse
There is one story that I would like to share with you, it is the story of how I started to believe in the paranormal world. I was 6, maybe 7 years old at the time. I was in Kennedy’s Memorial Hospital, located in Boston, Massachusetts. I was there from Monday to Friday. On one lonely and quiet night, I was in bed trying to sleep; that is when I heard the strangest sounds coming from the locker nearest to me. It sounded as if something was rustling inside of it, but what could possibly be inside of a locker in the hospital, in the middle of the night? I opened my eyes and looked over at the sound, and what I saw, I could not possibly comprehend. In front of me stood this human figure, posing as the night nurse, but it could not conceivably be. The night nurse was in the office, as she is every night, she most undoubtedly was not in my room. It looked as though she was dredging through a black garbage bag, but I was unable to tell its contents from my bed or in the dark. Afraid, I hid under the covers and started to count. At least five minutes had passed, so I decided to peak my head out of the covers and look back over to the locker. The eerie nurse figure was no longer there, she was completely gone. The locker itself was now closed and locked. I never saw the mysterious figure in that room again, not after that one night.
