If Black Was a Person – Poetry by Praise Edwin

If black 🖤 was a person……
It’d certainly be me;
If black 🖤 was freedom…..
I’d certainly be free;
If black 🖤 was joy…..
I’d rejoice happily;
If black 🖤 was wisdom…….
I’d acquire it diligently;
if black 🖤 was beauty 😍……
I’d admire it gleefully;
If black 🖤 was society……
I’d fit in perfectly.

If black 🖤 was a Storm…..
I’d sail through it calmly;
if black 🖤 was power……
I’d control it wisely;
If black 🖤 was insane…..
I’d go mad;
If black 🖤 was pain…..
Automatically I’d be sad;
If black 🖤 was the soil…..
Then I’ve found the fruits of past labour toiled.

If black 🖤 were the skies…..
daily I’d be mesmerized;
If black 🖤 was love…..
I’d be as spotless as a dove;
If black 🖤 was brave…….
Then I’d be bold;
If black 🖤 was a grave 🪦……
I’d be silent 🔕 and Cold 🥶;
If black 🖤 was patience…..
Then I’ve found an essence
To my life’s existence 👌💯

I would tell you where I live, but I live in different places every few months. I enjoy traveling and seeing new things. I have been a professional photographer for many years now and do all styles of photography. I enjoy modeling from time to time as well. I make candles, Chapstick, tea, spell jars, sage bundles...I collect crystals and I like painting. I sell the crafts I create, to make room for more.
